Building day, day 129
A craft day with my partner on Finally Me. Practice cards, coming soon boards, Soft Margins still moving. Day 129 clean.
A BBQ and day 127
Burgers, cake, coffee, music, and so much laughing. Day 127 clean. Five months lands on October 31.
Two trips to the store
Supper, chores, a walk for refreshments, and a debit card left on the counter. The ordinary evening still counts.
Visual design on the wall
A public page for covers, logos, social kits, and busy posters. Clear CAD list prices under mid market custom.
Private client art stays private
I make covers for people who have not announced yet. Their reveal is theirs.
Thirty pictures for a friend
Matched a warm wood and gold vibe. Made a free art pack. His site and his announce stay his.
Seventy thousand words or it is not a book
Eight pen name titles got rebuilt as full books. Five are done. Three are still writing on the local machine.
Fiber cut in the alley
Someone dug up the Telus line. They fixed it in three days. I also cleaned up my phone plan.
Cursor and a friend with a new laptop
A long email about Cursor, ADB, phone tools, and an Acer. Picture guides attached. Coffee optional.
Karmabot is live
Ask one question, four models answer, and a Chair merges what they said. Free to try at karmabot.ai. Here is what it does and what it does not do yet.
Chris and the airplane
One flight with Chris and his remote control plane. Almost a tree. A tail that needs repair. Photos from the path.
Field guides for sale
29 Soft Margins guides plus Soft Margins fiction. Short. Honest length. Direct EPUB on phyllux.com.
The coming soon books got an edit pass
All thirty six titles rewritten to their briefs. Still not for sale. Openings should sound like tools and stories, not waiting rooms.
The coming soon wall has drafts now
Thirty six workshop manuscripts. Covers, opening samples, still not for sale.
The commission shop is open
Books on any topic. Websites priced to undercut theater. One silent client already on the path with me.
Life is good
Clean time, a solid floor, work I can ship. The till is still one Velvet Arrangement, bought by me, paid through Stripe.
One sale
One copy of The Velvet Arrangement. I bought it. Stripe paid me $4.55.
The shop on phyllux.io
Archive chrome ate the homepage. The Tech shop is back up.
Why I am writing here
A public notebook on phyllux.com. Books, software, and the work on the table.
A packet on Paul's desk
Eight companion novellas, one Foundation each. A planning PDF. Not a lock.
Parchment, not hype
One cover layout. Eight Foundation colours. A card that also keeps your place.
How I actually make books
Local draft. Human direction. Heavy curation. Markdown until the keeper is right.
What I will not claim
Maslow, the stages of change, and CBT belong to other people. Arrangement is not proof.
Card Night is a table
Bring the book. Bring the card. Two questions. No extra product required.
Keeper means it ships
Workshop pages are not the shelf. The shelf is the shelf.
Novelmate on the public hub
The local pipeline got a public door on this site. Social art went with it.
Music is a lane
Same week the Novelmate hub went public. Music sat in the main nav. Writing and recording. No fake discography.
Workshop covers and a hold
Eight keeper covers went live. Amazon upload did not.
Velvet goes in
The Velvet Arrangement went to Kindle Direct Publishing under my own name.
Canada Day, a shelf not a crowd
1 July 2026. I ran titles through Novelmate so the house would have a shelf. Nobody bought a parade.
Putting it down
Early June. I stopped. I am counting in days now.
One house for the work
I finally put the studio, the books, and the programs under one roof on this machine.
The models showed up
Winter 2022 into 2023. Public models. I used them to turn work around. Not a royalty story.
